I am a paid Pro member, but limewire cant find my email address
 

:yikes:I have been a limewire PRO user for like 3 years!! Went to grab the download link after a reformat, and now my email address is no longer a valid paid member! I have not used any other email address for limewire, and it worked a few months ago, so why not now? Why am I lost, and have to repay again? I have had to pay twice now, and I really do not want to pay again! Any help?

yea like 3 yr user reinstalled windows went to download and update to pro. as i had done once be for.it doesnt recognise me yet my credit card and bank sure do for the payment.of which was a one time fee unless i wanted to update . so im waiting for an answer as to how i get what i paid for.anything helpfull would be great.since its a little distressing to see all of the complaints around the internet on this subject. thanks

well heres the deal. when i bought limewire pro 3 yrs ago i got online found limewire of which only one was available.it looked just like this and i even looked at its company info bla bla bla.i also downloaded and upgraded 4 times. then all of a sudden you cant do that anymore. why ? sounds like a racket to me so i guess ill find the original receipt for payment, the email from lime wire and cc transaction. then we can see its the same and i can ask all over again.

with the help of visa and my bank i sent payment details as well as logged info to the attorney generals office of missouri. looks like they perplexed as well and want to look at it some more. so thats that i guess anyhow done here hope the rest with this problem do the same and move to another p2p network as i have done. and keep records or you will get the... no no wait that was so and so it has to have llc..or mfg. or inc. after it horse **** lol

None of us here work for Limewire, so venting at us makes no difference at all...;)

I'm experiencing the same proublem I had to go through a system restore and lost every thing but the basics and now I'm trying to get pro again and It says that I'm entering a invalid e-mail address I can't even get through to support and the originale url says that my download page has expired what do I do

:tease:first of all I guess that you have too backup your limewire pro installer because your download page expires in 6 months so I just said f**k it and downed the free basic again the only difference is the skin. if you want to talk to someone that can help you alittle more get ahold of limenathan

Depends on when you bought your Pro version. The suscription is only good for 6 mnths and just recently been offered for a year. So if its been longer than 6 mnths your e-mail address won't be in the data base any longer. If you want the updates and "e-mail support" :cheesy: that they offer, then you will have to re-purchase.

I think we all need to get together and sue for this problem we paid and we should be able to have no problem redownloading

WOW JD, You are a true Genius. Let me make sure I understand what You're Saying. You want to Sue Limewire because you can't READ. Also your Stealing of Copyrighted Material is now hampered also because You can't READ. NO ONE Forced You To Buy Pro, and Basic is FREE.
I would love to see your Prosecuting Lawyer present your case against LW. Don't YOU Understand what YOU are doing Is ILLEGAL??
