Options drop down box flashes on be then vanishes.

I have used LW Pro for many years but as its now an old version I switched to the free program. Unfortunately the drop down box "Options" in which e.g. the download locations are set will not properly open.

I've tried going back to my old LW Pro and have unistalled & Re-installed LW many times but this box still vanishes when the icon is clicked.

Any ideas??

Sounds like you have a virus....


To fix this you need to install AVG antivirus....
So disable the current AV you are using - install AVG and make sure you UPDATE it and run a full system scan....
Follow the prompts on what it catches....

Then you can uninstall it and go back to your normal AV...

Downloaded the freee version of AGV and it found two serious threats and over 550 trojans. It removed them all and now everything works again.

I am amazed, I use Virgin's anti everything but will now buy the Pro version of AGV.

It is amazing what the free programs pick up that the so called popular, paid for AV's don't...I'm glad your up and running again...
