Purchase Pro 6 month exp
 

I've been a limewire user since it came out. I downloaded basic and then I decided to go pro. After I had purchased it I emailed support asking if after my initial 6 months was up if there was a way to pay for additional months. They sent me an email saying they would respond and never did. Of course I forgot about it and I'm now expired. Does anyone know who I can talk to and does anyone also know if they have thought of offering initial payment then package deals like DFX and MM do?
Any help or information would be appreciated. :bangh:

If you bought Pro from the official site Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « then your Pro download page will show a warning, about a month before your Pro's going to expire. During that time, you'll be able to buy more Pro at a reduced price.

The only way to see that your Pro's about to expire & that you can buy more Pro at a discount, is to log into your Pro personal download page.

I did buy it from the official site but I never got any warning. I was waiting for a reply from customer service. Is there anything I can do about this now or do I have to re-purchase limewire in order for this to happen? Then set a reminder to myself. :shoot:

Do I have to go to the page everyday to be reminded?

I wouldn't expect Pro support to give you a warning...they're only there for support(?) with Pro problems:giggle:

If your Pro's definitely expired then you'll need to buy again (either the original 6 month deal or there's a new 'Extended Pro' that's valid for a year).

But before you buy Pro again, download the latest basic (free) version first...there have been a lot of changes in the latest versions & you might find that the new version doesn't work as well for you, or that you just don't like the changes;) Providing you have your current Pro installer saved, you can go back to that version if you don't like the latest one (installing a new version of LW will automatically remove the version that you have installed now).

If you do decide to buy Pro, just write on a sticky note when your Pro will expire. Stick it on your calendar, or in your diary/organiser etc. Once it gets close to expiry time, check your download page every few days - an orange nag box will show, prompting you to renew. There's usually a few weeks between when the nag first shows & when your Pro actually expires.

Right now I've gone back to 4.14.12 (not a big fan of 4.16 onwards) but I was using the 4.17.0 Beta for a while before that:)
