Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

A few things to try. For a start, remove all versions of Java & re-install using the Offline version installer. Try steps 1-6 here Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link). If still issues after trying all those steps, do step 1 again but this time remove Java 1.6 & install Java 1.5_11
