 Scammed for $50 registration fee
signed up for limewire today, having been told it was free. I was given three options for signing up - a lifetime membership for $49.95, a 2-year membership for one dollar 50 per month, or a 4-year membership for .95c per month. Assuming I had the wrong information and needed to pay for Basic Limewire I charged the lifetime membership to my Amex through a company called Clickbank. The next window was from Limewire advising that basic service was free and if I paid anything, I'd been scammed.
Anyone else have this experience?
