cannot access limewire

have been using limewire since oct 07 was working fine,yesterday it updated and now i get a message saying i need higher than java 5.0 to access limewire,and i have java 6.0,have tried several unintalls and reinstalls,now on limewire 4.16.6:confused:

Try This. You may have more than one Version of Java causing the problem.

Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer)
Java SE Downloads Fourth one Down.
