Probelm with Java Runtime Environment Hi there! Ok, so I wanted to install LimeWire on my comp (Windows) and at certain point during the installation (in the beginning, to be more precise) a download of JRE starts.... I already have JRE installed on my machine so I stopped the download and continued with the installation. At the end of the installation I got a warning message telling me that the installation was successful but I won't be able to run LW without JRE. I cannot run LW because I get the warning that I don't have JRE installed! Now, the question is: why doesn't LW recognize that I DO HAVE JRE installed on my machine?? And how do I point the LW app to the exact location of the JRE, because it isn't in the standard "c:\Java\..." or whatever directory.... I appreciate your help! Ok here's what you do quick and simple. Uninstall Any Java you got and all so Limewire.Than Re-install Limewire and let it run it's path to install. Here is how you do it just in case you dont. Go to start menu>Than setting's>Than Control Panel And than Add or Remove Programs. |
