Limewire Update Fail

I was in the middle of installing the newest version of Limewire. Sometime in the installation it said somethig about already running or something like that. It then said i had to abort. So i did. I didnt realise that to get updates it has to uninstall the older version first. I must have had to abort when it was in the middle of I tried opening lime wire just to check and it said that some of the files were missing or something like that. So i tried to install it again from scratch. Everytime i try to install it a error comes up. The only thing i can do is to uninstall what is left on my computer of it but it seems that the uninstall bit has been uninstalled (if you catch my drift). I have tried going to the control panel and uninstalling it from there but it sais it is already uninstalled! But it isnt! there is still some of it on my computer! I REALLY NEED HELP! Thank you!

Edited: I went in one of the other forums and went to http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe I downloaded the version they have there, installed it, and it seemed to work just fine. I even managed to find the uninstaller in my control panel. In the FAQ they said that the security update that the client opens is a scam and it shouldn't be downloaded.

This is all so boring and sooooo unnecessary.
Not any fault of you folks !
Limewire are blowing it.

Try this > If LimeWire Will Not Load

and maybe a bit of > Fixes For Limewire When LW Isn't Operating As It Should

Or, be really smart, pack it in, and get...
