hi i'm a new user. i have windows xp. when i try to install limewire it say corruped file try again. i was able to download limwire before then i saw the fake update. is that why i can't download limewire again? please help me

That is a virus. Check your computer over with an Anti virus program.

Then download the OFFLINE version LW installer (refers to it as the non-preferred option) and install that. If problems, uninstall the old version using the Start menu -> Programs -> LW -> Uninstall.
