I uninstalled my previous version of limewire, and downloaded the new one
(limewirewin ??). When the download was attempted the message said file was corrupted try downloading again. I uninstalled, went to limewire.com, and tried it again...same thing. I thought about downloading my old program but I don't have it in my recycle bin anymore. What can I do?

Funny enough, I pounded my Ipod several times figuring well it couldn't hurt the darn thing isn't working anyway, and it didn't do any good at all. Couldn't turn it off, left it on all night. Got up for work at 3 am (yes, I said 3 am) and it was still stuck on "don't disconnect", left it alone. Came home from work and it was dead, but when I touched the wheel, it came on and it was on the proper screen. I plugged it into my computer and it was fine. I charged it, played it in my car, all is well. Don't know what happened, but letting it run out of "juice" seemed to help it. Clueless, but happy.

Phew !

You must have changed reels or something while I was away cuz I have missed the scene where the iPod had it's part !!!



I thought that this was a personal drama related to the joys and tribulations of trying to properly remove and install Limewire !
