Setup Wizard keeps appearing
 

Every time I launch Limewire 4.16.7, its setup wizard appears. I found some old posts about this happening with an old mac version, but nothing with with the current windows version. I'm running Windows ME.

Did you ever get a reply to this issue? I'm having one very similiar... Limewire used to work perfectly and then one day, it randomly started bringing me to the setup wizard asking me to choose a file sharing folder. I tried use the default one but I kept getting an error message, along with any other folder I chose. I can't even get to Limewire at all anymore. Do you or anyone have info on this problem?

No one has replied, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Limewire and it still brings up the setupwizard everytime. It seems some of limewires settings are still stored even after the uninstall. Maybe if someone can tell us how to clear/reset those, a reinstall might work... Anyone?

Why Windows ME ? It is really a little old nowadays and they already stopped developing java for it. Windows XP would be more suitable.

It sounds to me like you are continually clicking the LW installer. woot :)

Go to Start menu > Programs > LW
(I presume Windows ME has a start menu)

I am having the same problem the set wizard pops up but I cant do anything else. What's going on?
