Trying to download Limewire
 
I am trying to download limewire and I keep getting an error message that reads "[IMG]res://ieframe.dll/info_48.png[/IMG] The website declined to show this webpage

HTTP 403
Most likely causes:
  • This website requires you to log in.
What you can try:

[IMG]res://ieframe.dll/bullet.png[/IMG] Go back to the previous page.

[IMG]res://ieframe.dll/down.png[/IMG] More information

This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.

Is anyone else getting this message?

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

1. Remove all old versions of Java. Then install the OFFLINE version from here Download Java software from Sun Microsystems

2. Then install this version of LW http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe

Your web problem sounds like your browser if blocking the site. Either due to your security softw., else your browser security settings. You may need to put LW site on the safe list.
