Question Help please (Trouble launching LW)

I downloaded limewire and it was not working properly. I decided to uninstall it and try to reinstall it, unfortunately I am not as computer literate as I'd like to be. After uninstalling the program I now continue to get a pop up screen on my computer.

This is what the pop up says:
LimeWire version 4.16.6
Java version 1.6.0_01 from Sun Microsystems Inc.
Windows Vista v. 6.0 on x86
Free/total memory: 31277840/33357824

STARTUP ERROR!

I dont see how after uninstalling the program I would continue to have problems with it. Any help is much appreciated.

Try uninstalling your current version of java while LW is completely shut down. Go to the add/remove programs control panel and uninstall your current version of java. Then d/load and install the latest version using the offline installer: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems. Let us know if it helps.
