so i recently updated my limewire and when i first downloaded it it worked fine and all but now when i try to open it it wont open. i noticed a text document opens every time i attempt to open it. after i saw this document i thought maybe i just had to update my java but i did that and it still didnt work....anyway heres what it says:

You can try these fixes...

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then use Crap Cleaner to clean the registry.

Try updating to the latest version of Java here Java SE Downloads

If the latest update gives you any problems, try this older version, which has worked well for lots of people: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions (via Add/Remove Programs) before installing another one.

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...This will reset your configurations back to default and get rid of any corruption that may of happened...
