Hey all, I'm hoping someone can help me here!
I recently had my hardrive cleared (proffessionaly), and started "clean slate" so to say. I tried to download LimeWire again today and it's sending me an alert that says: "An older version of LimeWire appears to be running. Please exit the old version before continuing with installation. Once you have exited LimeWire, click OK." I've checked into it, done extensive searches, it advises me to check the system tray as well, and LimeWire is NOWHERE to be found. I'm totally stuck now, and could really use some guidance! I just wanna hear music in my ears! sniff sniff... Please help. Remedy. |

I just tried using the "Backup Installer" and it solved the problem, removing old files for me. Thanks anyway!
Hopefully people with the same problem can find this thread - someone should post it under "frequent problems/questions." Again, thanks anyway! Remedy. |
