Downloaded LW twice but can't find it: no desktop icon appearing

I've downloaded it twice now and I can't find it. Is there any reason I wouldn't be able to locate it? I have Windows Vista Premium (hate it). I've gone to run it but just nothing (the exe. file) I don't know if I need something else to make it work. Please help me out asap.
