Limewire: Advanced Video Search: Ratings? Hi All, I am new to this forum, but not new to Limewire. My question is: What do the rating codes mean in the dropdown list of the advanced video search settings of Limewire? The codes are: "G" "PG" PG-13" "R" "NC-17" & "NR" Thanks in advance for enlightening me after all this time... |
Good question since many countries have different ratings. :) G = General Viewing. PG = Parental Guidance recommended. PG-13 not sure (perhaps over 13). Probably similar to previous. R = Restricted. Usually adults only. Could be either porn or strong violence or strong language. NC & NR not sure. NC could be not recommended for children under 17. Hopefully one of the USA members can fill us in. :) |
This should help out. :) Motion Picture Association of America NR Means Non Rated UR Means Un-Rated Both means that they have not been submitted to the MPAA for ratings yet. |
Unrated can also mean that there are two versions of the movie. One for the delicate souls and one for the ones that aren't as queasy about a bit of nudity, strong violence, drug use, swearing etc. |
