LimeWire 5.3.6 Screwed my Java My Java was working FINE until I tried installing LimeWire 5.3.6 Basic. It told me I needed to install java 6 or later. Well, $@MMIT, I already had Ver 7, but NOO!! That wasn't good enough! So, I tried installing the stnd Java, and got the Error 25099 that says it can't unpack the core files. I've tried the SDK installs, and none of them work! So, would someone PLEASE make sense of this, and give me a simple 1,2,3 step answer. I don't any geeky crap!! I've got more important things to do.:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2: |
I was not aware Java had released a version 7. According to Java Downloads for All Operating Systems - Sun Microsystems version 6 is the most recent. Nobody told you to install SDK version did they? If you are using Windows NT or earlier then you are limited to an earlier version of Java 6, but you did not tell us what operating system you were using as specified in the forum rules. ;) Let me guess .. you are using the 1972 version of DOS right? We've got better things to do than answer to arrogant creeps like you .. we do this for free .. just give me a good excuse to toss you off this forum & it will make my day. If you ask nicely for help, people will be willing to help. We are not interested in your attitudes .. get it into shape or ship out MR !!! You already broke the forum rules for not providing sufficient details about your operating system. You did read the forum rules right. |
LOTR You know, you have given that guy more info than he deserves. UK Bob |
