Start Up Issues

I had a previous version of Limewire on my computer. Downloaded the version 5.5.8 and installed it. When I start the program, the start up screen for Limewire flashes and then nothing happens. Limewire nevers starts. I have uninstalled the new version and completed a new install but no success. Any suggestions?

yes but will my songs be deleted by uninstalling and reinstalling limewire like in that technique?

No, not if the download location is the default one & not set to your program folder instead.
