problem with opening package for installation

When I click on the icon to install the program a window pops up and it states "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the aplication vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package. C\: Windows\Temp\_is20C2\Lime Wire\2.3.1.msi"
what can I do?
