v1.5 shutting down at will

just installed v1.5 and for some inexplicable reason the application shuts down at will. I can be downloading or in a forum and it just shuts down. I have xp, adaware (turned off) and mcafee (turned off). any ideas out there before i switch to another p2p application. thanks in advance.

I've also been having this problem. Xolox 1.5 will just "go away", no error messages, or any warning that there might be a problem. I was getting a crash error with the 1.5 betas that would send debug info and allow me to restart, but that has been replaced by THIS annoying problem.

System information:
CPU: AMD Athlon 1.2GHz with 266MHz bus(Thunderbird core)

Memory: 1 gig(1 512-meg modules)

Motherboard: Asus A7N8X Deluxe 1001.C BIOS

Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1 installed.

I have some problems with IE since I installed SP1, but it won't let me re-install. It's possible that these problems are affecting Xolox. Short of re-installing the OS though, I don't see any way to FORCE IE to re-install. Problems such as windowsupdate not downloading anything, and when in IE not being able to click on anything that opens another browser window are examples of the problems I am seeing. I don't really care since I PREFER Netscape 7.02, but it may be causing problems under Xolox 1.5.

My issues around 1.5 shutting down seem to be independent of IE or anything else. I am current on all windows apps and have no issues with any portion of my os or other apps. this seems to be a 1.5 issue

Possible source of the problem...

I just came up with a possible reason it RANDOMLY seems to shut down. Could it be one of the advertisements is causing the random shut-down? That would explain why it happens at a "random" time, because the advertisements update to show a random advertisement(I think).

Xolox 1.5 shutting down

I have also had the problem of Xolox 1.5 shutting down. I'm using XP Home w/sp1 installed. Something new that I have also noticed is creepy little ?pop-ups? / ?searches? namely:
Yashar-Oboz
I-MediaPopAD

Could one or both of them be the problem? ( hey, if they aren't the problem, can anyone tell me how to block these unwanted guests? )

I'm now having the same problem with the latest version build 733. Prior builds simply locked up requiring a CTL-ALT-DEL, but this new build just "disappears", no taskbar presence, nothing.

Same for me...build 733 seems to be the issue. lets hope 734 is better.
