I like youre logo suggestion. I would add to it though, it has a little too much blank space. But then again, my opinion doesn't matter much, I'm not the one developing for Xolox!

The logo is not reallt that bad though (could be cropped easily)

Forget about the logos - just concentrate on getting the darn thing working right -
Can't download new version and old version getting less and less responsive:

when downloading, the servers very unresponsive and slow
