More stability. Don't implement a single new feature if there are known bugs and unmature features.

I think for the coming billion potential Gnutella users Xolox already offers best and good enough functionality. Adding to it or changing it risks breaking it. Why some software feels and works nice is somewhat subtle and often by luck more than by conscious design. Changing it is dangerous.

But more speed and more stability, please!

One thing would be good, though: trying to get the first segments of files first, and having partial file beginnings available for opening in a player. I know I can open the mp3's on the unfinished job segments. But it is awkward. I know some video formats (most? all?) require all of the file (file lenght?) before they can be opened in a players. But I can't see why this has to be. The must be coming players that can open unfinished divx files (that can stream)... The day is very close, when you can download divx at real time speeds, and that means VoD!

Another idea: why not let me know, that I have a file somebody is queing for? There are dozens of files that I have been trying to get for a long time (like Tron and Dark Crystal) but they seem to have vanished from the network. Wish I could ask the hosts to come in sometime, please.
