Due to the number of posts about a lost/non-existant shared folder I will explain exactly how to share a folder. First run LW and go to the library tab. Click file>add folder to share. Than navigate to the LW shared folder or the folder containing the files you want to share (the default location of the LW shared folder is: C:/Program Files/LimeWire/Shared). Moderators: you may "stick" this if you feel inclined to do so.

I did exactly that and no new folders showed up. The files being shown right now are windows files, is that supposed to happen? But I went to library, then file, add new folder to share, selected my shared folder in limewire, and nothing happened. ???

And exit LW and start it up over again after you have made the changes.
