I've used Limewire for some time now and one day I tried to boot it up and it gets stuck on the loading screen saying "12% Loading HTML Engine".
How can I get Limewire pass this? |

Sorry this is not helpful to you, but I am experiencing the EXACT same error as you: stuck at 12% loading HTML engine. Brand new Vista Home Premium OS on a brand new Dell Inspiron. I have uninstalled LW and Java numerous times, re-booted and tried again to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions for both of us?

Thanks Remoc! There's a couple of suggestions in your thread. I've already used the offline install for both Java and LW so I think next I'm gonna go the "XP compatability route" and see what happens. One thing that's really weird is that if my memory is correct I had LW successfully running on this new machine for a few days and then one day it stalled at 12% and has been that way since? Also, you can't use Task Manager to shut down, you have to do a manual shutdown. I'll post my results later...good or bad!
