None so why you mentioning it? Just keep your shares to a low number and dont brag too loudly or the RIAA/MPAA will come a knocking. FYI its not really free, someone had to pay for that music file or movie file to be uploaded, in otherwords someonehad to buy the CD/DVD etc first, before it can be downloaded by fellow users, as far as software those are just old demos, not worth stealing in my opinion. Its called sharing dood so I hope you're not just leeching off the network which is not cool.

I'm not. The reason I made this topic was I met alotta kids at my camp (computer camp) who hate pirates. Especially my roommate. We'd have arguments about it at night. He says the programers will lose all their money and die cuz they can't afford food .

I explained that I only download files that I couldn't afford to buy anyway. He thinks piracy is ruining the economy. No, it's helping. Copy from the rich, give to the poor.

He also said it was stealing ! Stealing is when you take something from someone, so they can't have it. I'm just downloading files so we can share .

I basically made this topic to assure myself that many other people agree with me .

BTW, I don't care if they come knockin. No matter what the problem is, I always have an aliby/excuse/kick-in-the-nuts.

If you do not own the right to a piece of software, Song (You Did Not Buy and Pay for it) or any other thing that is for sale or has been for sale and is copyrighted. And you live in the US or any other country that has copyright protection laws. Then you stoled it plain and simple. You, or I can call it whatever we want and think what ever we want but the laws are the laws. If we break them and get caught at it, we then have to pay for our actions. I may not like it and you may not but that is the way it is.

That is a very good point because before i had limewire i was downloading stuff from i tunes and getting p%%%%d off getting rubbish music so i downloaded limewire and downloaded some of the bands i had heard of but not heard and was disapointed by a few and amazed by a few this didn't meen i downloaded about 600 tracks and burnt them to cd i went to the record store and bought the cd's i liked and i now use it to listen to stuff i have heard on the radio and tv and if it's good i buy it so i am buying more cd's now and have not been disapointed buying some cd i hate because theres one good track on it.
The thing aswell with the movies most of them are not too brilliant recording wise so if i download a good film or tv show i buy it on dvd because let's face it you don't get a cover,extras,5:1 sound,dolby,ect ect ect with downloads.So i buy them on dvd when they come out.
