version 2.4 (pro) not working

i had pro version 2.2.1. it informed me version 2.4 was available, but it could not download 2.4. the download would hang.

i downloaded and installed 2.4 directly. i received no error messages during the install. however, 2.4 would not run. nor would the 2.2.1 version.

i uninstalled both versions, and re-downloaded and re-installed 2.4. no errors during install. however, 2.4 cannot load or run javaw.exe.

what do i try next?

There seems to be an error in the limewire pro update process, - send an email to the limewire team!

You can send emails to [email protected] (I think) but the email-addresses are listed somwhere on LimeWire.com

When you post your problems in this forum, it usually takes a while for the developers to react.

there is no support for the free version.

well, the free version didn't suffer from the same problems, because it doesn't use LimeWire's auto-update.
