update problems......

i am trying to run the update for limewire but when i do it says that it is still open in the tray so i exit there and it still run please help

Try Killing it in the Task Manager if it's there.
Did you Right Click the LW Lime in the tray and then click Exit??

I've bought Limewire PRO twice now, and each time I try to update it says my email address doesn't match. I've bought it twice under the same email...and when I try to go to open it from the actual LW program, it opens up Photoshop. Anybody know whats up?

Lol, that's pretty awesome you posted that a week ago with no answers. I don't have pro but I'm having the same problem. I've had the same single damn email address for five years and it's telling me its wrong. Not only that, if I click the update that pops at the bottom of LW, nothing happens. I was considering going pro, bt with this kind of support (or lack thereof) I don't see it happening.

Limewire will update automatically on your system if you purchased it within 6 months but other than that, you can do what I had to do, fight with the company! I had the same exact problem. I love limewire but hate the headaches that come with it. When you write to the "support" at limewire, make sure to attach the letter they emailed you with all the info on it or they will write you back a letter letting you know that they are "unable to help you at this time".... No surprise there....hugh? Good luck! I got mine working but I still fight with it. I am seriously thinking of ditching it and moving on. Just hate the waste of hard earned money spent.
