The last 24 hrs had LW 4.1.8 running, dwnlding & uplding non-stop unattended with (Stief's advice
Library & Connections windows hidden, & (et voilą's advice
with the probram hidden; total ram use was 100 MB, & VM 550 MB. As soon as I brought the program out front again, ram seemed d to increase at the old rate. But hidden again & it seems to stem/limit this increase. Hiding it certainly makes the ram jump back a few mb.
This is the best result I've been able to get running LW for such a period.
