It sounds as though you may have renamed or moved the original LW dwnld folder outside of LW. That may be why LW couldn't find the designated folder to move the files to. As far as files showing up in your LW Library window, they must be shared. Only incomplete & shared files are listed in the Library window! (Although the beta versions by default have the Saved folder listed in the Library window.) So you'll need to share your Dwnld folder. Tools>Options>Sharing to add a shared folder.
