LW won't screw up your system but SP2 'might' make it difficult for LW to connect. SP2 reduces connectivity & resets xp's firewalls to default, etc. If you run a business or major network then SP2 must be important to you. For the average home user it is quite unnecessary. But MS tells people to jump so they jump, & update their OS without knowing what their updating to & without waiting to see whether the new update has bugs or not. SP2 does have bugs if you're not aware. Although there's patches out, they haven't solved all the bugs. This is quite normal MS behaviour to use the public as their beta testers for heir updates. A wiser & more experienced windows person would have a policy of wait & see. If you want to know more google SP2.

So if you wish to use LW with SP2 then you might or not have some connection issues.
