I am using Limewire 4.0.8 on Windows XP. I have a DSL connection (which is also routed to another computer that doesn't have Limewire on it). Every time I try to connect to Limewire, I totally lose my internet connection. I have sent my computer in to my internet provider and they told me that it was an issue with Limewire. I have read some other threads and tried uninstalling Limewire, updating to a newer version, and deleting the .limewire file. Nothing seems to work. When I lose connection on my computer with limewire, I also lose connection on the computer without limewire. I have to restart the modem constantly. Can someone please help me?
