So, I should look for a program that will convert DVD to SVCD? Do you know of any? I am downloading movies for my children to watch on their portable 7 inch DVD players. So, a lesser quality isn't such a big deal. It's not like we're watching it on our 50 inch big screen!

I've been able to sucessfully download movies onto my hard drive...just burning it has become a problem. I even worked out the issues with the codecs and can watch them on my pc. I did check out the link you posted first....spent days there actually and wound up more confused than when I started!
