1. Delete the LW Preferences folder called
.limewire (whilst LW is closed!) & found here: Your .limewire folder is in "C:\My Documents"
2. Update your Java:

3. If you're still having problems: Can you tell us: (a) Connection type, (b) Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
4. It is not wise to try to connect to too many fils at the same time & also not wise to use the Resume or Find Sources buttons on many files in the one session. This will queue the files for much longer & also affect LW's connection quality.
