Thumbs up Contextual Menu Extension - the bad boy
Disable Contextual Menu Extension fixed it for me!

TiPB G4 500mhz 512RAM OS 9.2.1

Limewire 1.7 would run and download but ONE CLICK anywhere other than Limewire would crash the app. Disabled Contextual Menu Extension and everything works just fine.

Concur on the previous good housekeeping hints also ... uninstall old Limewire, lastest version of Java engine etc.
