Use LimeWire Pro 4.2.6 with Windows XP Home Edition, use cable, and yet my downloads seem slow. I opened the ports both at my IP address, yet I'm wondering if XP's SP-2 update, i.e. the Firewall, is blocking my downloads. Does anyone have any advice about XP's SP-2 Firewall, even if I have opened the correct ports, and forced the IP address also? I think I've done just about every thing, yet I know the downloads are slow. If you can, please email me at ***edited for obvious reasons***. In advance, thank you.
