It works fine for me on OSX to paste search strings. That's what I really liked about LW 4. In LW 2 I used previously you couldn't copy & paste into the search box. You CAN also do it on windows!!!

You may need to have the particular font or language enabled on your system I don't know. (Certainly on OSX you don't need the language enabled to paste that particular language! Whatever it is!)
