So far I haven't been able to DC with that ip & either port 6346 or 6348 using win or mac. I'll try again later.
(By they way that Dave softw I was refering to is for networking b/w a mac & pc & makes it easy. I have a friend who uses it. And it (an earlier version) was already on another 2nd hand G4 we got last year. Networking directly might be the go.)
As I recall your modem also accepts USB. Though I wouldn't normally recommend usb if you have ethernet.
LOL I think I'm slow this time of day! Particularly my posting. After seeing et voilą's post I think I'm not the right suggestion at the moment. A firewall/? may explain why I can't DC though!
