I'll try to answer questions as best I can but I'm somewhat of a computer retard.

I don't know what firewalls we have. We use Norton Anti-virus if that helps at all. I did all the firewall checks, etc. that it suggested in the help section and we are up to speed with those things. We have 512 mb ram, I don't know what hdd space is or how to check how much we have available. We connect with a cable modem (motorola sb5100 surfboard cable modem), connecting from home, I uninstalled Jave 1.5 to go back to what we had and we use charter communications. I'm not sure if that's what you mean by our ISP provider but I took a stab. I did a system restore back to Friday night after I again uninstalled limewire and when I rebooted my computer, I had to reinstall limewire and am having the same problem. I know how to get to the defragmentation part but am not sure exactly what to do and don't want to make the problem worse.
