The past 3 or 4 months I have been using Bearshare and I didn't like all the adware they gave me, so I decided to switch. I downloaded Limewire because I heard it was a good file-sharing service only to find that it was downloading around 24 KB/s.

I was setting the options to my liking, and I noticed that the uploads is at a default of
24.5 KB/s or something in that region. I think in the next update they should set the bandwidth for Uploads to Unlimited for EVERYONE and let the people decide if they want to go lower the amount of bandwith they allow for uploads. It might increase the download speeds.
