Angry Annoying / expensive gnutella requests

Hi,

recently I discovered that my DSL connection
which I use for getting mail regularly multiple times a day sometimes doesn't automatically disconnect after mail transfer.

I discovered that in my firewall log:

Mar 24 00:32:17 tux kernel: Packet log: input DENY ppp0 PROTO=6 217.83.137.245:4172 217.80.47.183:6346 L=48 S=0x00 I=45231 F=0x4000 T=124 SYN (#3)
...
Mar 24 00:49:35 tux kernel: Packet log: input DENY ppp0 PROTO=6 217.83.137.245:4675 217.80.47.183:6346 L=48 S=0x00 I=32455 F=0x4000 T=124 SYN (#3)
...

Obviously, there is some gnutella software that doesn't give up trying to connect to my (dynamic) IP - and because the connection
is "dial on demand" (and "hangup on idle"), my connection sometimes does NOT hangup for a long time only due to these incoming connection requests.

THIS IS REALLY ANNYOING AND EXPENSIVE FOR ME! (I personally don't use gnutella)

If somebody has some idea what can be done against these unwanted and annoying connection requests, please send me email:

ThomasWaldmann at gmx dot de

Thanks.
