I am also getting "Host name lookup failure"
I first tried the RPM, but then thought I'd try the tarball.
Next I did a ping on gnutellums.com and got:
PING gnutellums.com (206.63.156.2) from 199.170.89.58 : 56(84) bytes of data.
From lis-gw.nwnexus.net (206.63.198.34): Packet filtered

From lis-gw.nwnexus.net (206.63.198.34): Packet filtered
--- gnutellums.com ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, +3 errors, 100% packet loss
So, then I thought I'd change the host NapShare was trying to get it's hostlist from, but I saw no way to set/change that from the application, so I did a recursive grep in the directories from the tarball and did not find "gnutellums" anywhere in there... I suppose the exact IP is coded in there?
I dunno. At this point I'm giving up, and I'll try some other client.
If someone has a solution for this please email me:
