Hmmm that is up to you I have a Radeon display adapter and that is how I resolved my conflicts. The catalyst has problems. The drivers and control panel work well.

I also had problems with the ATI catalyst on other graphic intentense programs that use Java.

As a side note. I also suffered some stuttering/hesitation while playing some games with out any other programs running, while using the ATI catalyst, but worked fine with the control panel.
