To stop LW starting up at system start up, normally you'd go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Advanced>System startup & untick option & press apply. But now I'd recommend you delete your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire If same issue, then change the compatibility mode of LW to win 2k (step 4 I think in the above link.)
