I hope the above link works This is a frequent question. First of all do a Mac finder search (or something like it for windows) for one of the files you have lost. It may well be there, but not where you expected it to be!

Failing that, I understand there are file recovery programmes and the link above should point to one. I have no idea how they work!

The thing is this. In the Limewire library, you can chose files you are sharing and select to stop sharing them. However if you chose Delete, the files are deleted from your computer without going into the recycle bin/trash. This is a feature I do not like in Limewire, but one they have promised to fix in the near future.
