the "#" colum is how many hosts have that file and are sharing it at the time you did the search.

In LW tools>options>downloads --- maximum downloads --- increase the number there by say 10 or 20. You will have to experiment with it to see what is best for your system.

This should allow more hosts to connect on a d/l.
