They say that they have shut the port off temporarily because of upload bandwidth abuse. They were logging computers that had 300 people (other computers)connected at one time. The research has begun for a remedy by them but I was told that the real solution is going to be to buy more bandwidth and push that cost to the Internet customers. While I could care less about their bandwidth problems it at least dispells the thought that they think they are the Internet Police or the FCC. In any event I am going to call back again tomorrow to talk to someone else and see if the research is getting anywhere or if the story has changed. Meanwhile continue to call and complain as I have and the port will get turned back on soon enough.
