Perhaps because it's full of viruses, etc. Someone downlded a copy some months ago & ended up with a version full of viruses. LW 4.8.1 hasn't officially been available for a couple of mths now at least. If you want the real thing then get it here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
