What's shared on the gnutella network is between people like you & I. The files are not stored on a server, unlike some p2p networks which is what has wound them up in court.
I repeat, start with LW Basic 1st, sort any possible issues out whilst you're setting up & learning to use it, & then if you feel confident, consider using the pro version. Yes the LW pro version connects to 5 peers instead of 3 compared to LW Basic. That will give you better connection, search & downld results. But, you need to become accustom to using LW 1st before anything else. Learn the tricks of the trade so to speak.

5. (a) Configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other);

(b) Do this test:
Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then you have a firewall issue either due to a software firewall, router/modem with a NAT firewall or you isp.
