I'm no expert, but I was interested to check out a few Google links and my guess is that Limewire will not work with VM which AFAIKS is a somewhat outmoded system. Limewire requires very stable and usually up to date Java installations in order to work atall.

As I said... I am no expert and I may be tatally wrong, but I have seen many problems caused by slightly faulty Java problems, so this is my guess.
